General Introduction

Spiral Type Sludge Dewatering Equipment is a new sewage treatment facility that developed by Pioniere. It is used to separate the liquid from sludge by special cyliner, which combined with multi-disc and screw shaft. It has some outstanding features, such as low-speed running, save energy, free of colgging, simple to operate, durable and easy to maintenace. It significantly reduces the cost of design, construction, operation, maintenance and management.

Working Principle

As equipment starts running, sludge flows into the filter cylinder, and moves forward to the sludge cake outlet under the thrust from screw shaft. The whole cylinder is composed of fixed rings, moving rings and screw shaft. The first two sections are thickening zone, the last two sections are dewatering zone. Sludge is thickened in the first two sections. As the gaps of screw blades gets smaller, the pressure inside gradullay gets bigger. Under this pressure, more liquid are squeezed out from the sludge in the dewatering zone and leak from the ring gaps. The left dry solid is push to the sludge cake outlet.
